Screening and performance
3 August 2019, Lithuania
Baltic Nordic Meetup
Vilnius, Lithuania
with POLAR FILM LAB (NO) STPLN, Filmverkstaden, Spongé Lab and Baltic Analog Lab
Screening of films from the Baltic-Nordic Analogue Film Lab Network, hosted by Polar Film Lab.
The program consists of experimental films from analogue film collectives in Nordic and Baltic countries – POLAR FILM LAB (NO) STPLN(SWE), Filmverkstaden (FI), Spongé Lab (LT) and Baltic Analog Lab(LV) that are collectives of artists and filmmakers who chose analog film as a material to explore the cinematic essence of artistic filmmaking.
The program shows films which are originating from analogue - 16mm and super8 formats most of which are handprocessed in those labs by the authors themselves. The filmmakers will be present and will tell about each film and the way it has been made.
Programme: 19:30 - 21:00, Supported by Nordic Cultural Point
